Typical riverbed scrub seen near the trailhead. Just follow the road on the left - it will meander across the riverbed and back through the canyon. Its about 45 minutes one way.
Directions: From the I-210 freeway in Pasadena, exit north on Altadena Drive. Within two miles, you should see Eaton Canyon County Park entrance on the right. Park in the lot, and follow the dirt road north towards the mountains.
